Cooling
As a consequence of adiabatic heating, air compressors require some methodology of disposing of waste heat. Usually that is some type of air- or water-cooling, though some (notably rotary kind) compressors could also be cooled by oil (that's then in flip air- or water-cooled) and the atmospheric modifications additionally thought of throughout cooling of compressors.
